11/04/2004 EMORY PRE-LAW SOCIETY NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER

Hello everyone! Hope midterms went well and everyone is getting used to the idea of finals. We are participating in a philanthropy project this month, so please bring canned food to the two events listed below. Here are some upcoming events for the month of November for the Pre Law Society:

November 4- Thane Rosenbaum speech from 6:30-7:30 in White Hall 208. Details about Mr. Rosenbaum are listed on the Pre Law Society learnlink conference. Please bring canned food to donate to needy families during Thanksgiving.

November 6- Mock LSAT from 9 to 12 in North Decatur, Room 155. There will also be a strategy session after a short snack break after the test. You must be a dues paid member to take this test. Please bring canned food to this event as well. The food will be given to a needy family before Thanksgiving.

November 8 and 12- Emory Law School visits. Meet at the Admissions office on the first floor of the law school a little before 10.
10-10:30- Introduction and Statistics about Emory Law with an Admissions Advisor
10:30-12- Attend a class in the law school!
12-12:30- Tour of the law school

Sign ups for this event are posted on the "Law School Visit" Subconference, so please sign up asap!

Reminder: Pay your dues! Please contact Julia Nikitina (treasurer) or send her a check for $10 made out to Emory University Pre-Law Society to PO Box 121738, or bring them to any of our events!
