Ranked No. 8 in a preseason poll by the Collegiate Golf Foundation, the golf team opened its fall schedule this weekend at the Gustavus Adolphus Classic in St. Peter, Minnesota, finishing 11th out of 23 teams. But it was not a lack of confidence that kept the Eagles out of the top 10.
