Tigers bounce women's soccer from NCAAs

Not a sound could be heard as freshman sweeper Brooke Lasher's final penalty kick sailed wide right, ending the women's soccer team's run at a NCAA championship.
Trio plays 150 minutes

Three of the four starting defenders on the women's soccer team freshmen Jen Holm and Brooke Lasher and junior Lauren Mayros — played all 150 minutes of the Eagles' 1-1 (3-2 penalty kicks) loss to Trinity University (Texas) Sunday at the Woodruff P.E. Center.
Hoit goes out in style despite Eagles' loss

Just before the Cox Hall Bell Tower tolled one o'clock Sunday, Caroline Hoit jogged towards the rest of the women's soccer team as they stood at midfield. Hoit, a senior and co-captain of this precocious group, was the last player introduced before the Eagles embarked on an afternoon excursion that would stretch infinitely on toward early evening.


V-ball receives at-large bid to postseason
