Winnie Cisar / Staff Proposed budget cut likely to scale back programs and classes
With Emory's endowment growth slowing, University divisions have been asked to cut 3 percent from their budgets. Administrators have suggested that this cut may lead to a reduction in the number of student programs, classes and other projects.
Board of Trustees to appoint new members at this week's meeting
The makeup of Emory's Board of Trustees will undergo a dramatic change at its meeting Thursday night. The Board is expected to add six trustees to replace five retiring members, including Chairman of the Board Brad Currey, the chairman of the Rock-Tenn Company.
