The Epsilon Chapter of Kappa Alpha has had a very successful year. Despite graduating a great senior class, the active brothers wasted no time returning back to the typical activities. Upper-class rush in September added four new members to the chapter, and we're already looking forward to Spring Rush and adding even more members to our already strong brotherhood. As usual, Epsilon held its annual turkey fry right before Thanksgiving, and earlier this year we added two new events, a Texas style cookout, and a winter themed party. We also just held our annual Semi-Formal in Helen, GA, and had a great turnout to the Wish For Wendy charity softball tournament benefitting Cystic Fibrosis. We participated in the annual Emory Cares Day in November, where we painted a Senior Citizen's house one Saturday morning, proving that our brotherhood is as strong as ever.
Individually the active brothers of the chapter are doing well. Spirits are high, as well as grades. Numerous brothers expanded their college experiences by going abroad this semester, and we look forward having them back in the house when we come back next year. Convivium is going to be held in January 2011, and we hope to welcome back many of our alumni. Overall, Epsilon of Kappa Alpha had a great 2010, and we hope to continue our hard work and good times in the next semester.
