HSC is a non-sectarian international forum for the education and promotion of the Hindu spiritual and cultural heritage. Students, faculty, and all other academics are welcome to join. HSC also provides opportunities for non-academic individuals to work and identify closely with the objectives and programs of HSC.

HSC is an international forum to provide activities and projects to achieve the following:

a. Education of Hindu spiritual and cultural heritage, Hindu religion, and Hindu history.
b. Live a better life according to Hindu Dharma
c. Awareness of Hindu culture and values
d. Take necessary actions for the betterment of our community.

HSC promotes understanding and awareness about Hindu heritage amongst the Hindu students and students of different cultures and nationalities at Emory University. Hindu Students Council does not in any way discriminate against any religious or ethnic group. The mission of HSC is to develop a bond of an extended Hindu family-relationship and promote awareness, enlightened with the Universal ideals of the Hindu Dharma. HSC honors each member’s own religion and HSC does not promote any type of conversion. Thus, HSC is a socio-religious-cultural group.
