Begun in 1998, the Interfaith Discussion brings together members from diverse religious organizations such as the Muslim Students Association and Ba'hai Unity Group. These organizations have participated with HSC Emory to put forth discourse about Interfaith concerns, questions that members of each organization had about the others, and plan activities of mutual interest.

Each year since our inauguration, HSC Emory has conducted a hiking trip to the beautiful, sometimes foggy, forests and national park areas near the Appalachian Trail, in northern Georgia. These yearly excursions, which take place in the warm spring weather, allow HSC members to find common interests and bond as a group within the beautiful auspices of our natural surroundings.

Another important activity of HSC Emory concerns frequent visits to the Hindu temples around the Atlanta area, and in other parts of the southeast. The Atlanta Hindu community maintains four different Hindu or ISKON temples, of which the Riverdale Temple of Greater Atlanta is often frequented by Emory students. Known for its beautiful white classical temple sculptures, pujas are conducted at Riverdale each weekend and during the week. HSC Emory has made trips to Hindu temples in the Tennessee area, in conjunction with the chapter of HSC at The Georgia Institute of Technology.
