The Safe Cab Rides Program

The Safe Rides program is administered by Grad Senate to decrease impaired driving by Emory graduate students. The Safe Rides program allows for each graduate student to be reimbursed for 2 cab rides each semester, at a maximum of $20 per trip.

Certain cab receipts will NOT be reimbursed: cab rides from outside of Atlanta, cab rides from the summer, and cab rides to and from the airport. Receipts must be submitted within 14 days of the cab ride. This deadline will be strictly enforced.

To request a Safe Rides reimbursement, please fill out this form and drop it off at the Grad Senate office on the 5th floor in the DUC or to your Graduate Student Representative.

Grad Senate Mentoring Program

Through interaction with current graduate students, we hope that the mentor program can help encourage more undergraduates to explore academic fields of interest prior to applying to graduate school.

If you are a graduate student interested in becoming a mentor, please fill out this form and submit it to yourGraduate Student Representative.

If you are an undergraduate student looking for a mentor, please contact Elizabeth Farrar.
