Graduate Student Group Funding

Grad Senate offers graduate student groups financial support for their special events if the event is open to all Emory graduate students. To request funding, please fill out this form and submit it to the Grad Senate Treasurer, Dana Robison. Please note that Grad Senate has limited funds and reserves the right to approve less than the amound requested or none at all.

Safe Rides Cab Fare Reimbursement

The Safe Rides program is administered by Grad Senate to encourage responsible drinking of Emory graduate students. Grad Senate may reimburse each student up to $20 per trip, 1 time per semester. Please note that some additional restrictions apply to this program, including no reimbursement for cab rides outside of Atlanta, during the summer or for receipts not submitted within 14 days. To request a Safe Rides reimbursement, please fill out this form and drop it off at the Grad Senate office in the DUC or to your Graduate Student Representative.

Grad Senate Mentoring Program

Through interaction with current graduate students, we hope that the mentor program can help encourage more undergraduates to explore academic fields of interest prior to applying to graduate school.

If you are a graduate student interested in becoming a mentor, please fill out this form and submit it to your Graduate Student Representative.
