The Graduate Senate is the governing student organization for the eight graduate schools at Emory University. Represented in this organization are the schools of Allied Health, Business, Law, Medicine, Nursing, Public Health,Theology, and The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. The Graduate Senate is comprised of an executive board, elected by a University-wide vote, and one representative from each school, elected by the school. The mission of the Graduate Senate is to represent the graduate students at Emory University by addressing and resolving problems facing the graduate students University-wide, and to promote interdisciplinary exchange by organizing and promoting social events and academic collaboration for graduate students.
