Welcome to Alpha Phi Omega - Delta Kappa Chapter - Emory University!

Alpha Phi Omega is a national co-ed service fraternity established in 1925 that has boosted service and volunteerism throughout college campuses. With over 350 chapters around the country, Alpha Phi Omega prepares leaders through service. Our purpose is to develop leadership, to promote friendship, and provide service to humanity. With over 350,000 members since the founding, Alpha Phi Omega continues to grow and serve communities around the world with each member’s outstanding leadership, friendship, and service.

The purpose of the fraternity is "to assemble college students in a National Service Fraternity in the fellowship of principles derived from the Scout Oath and Scout Law of the Boy Scouts of America; to develop Leadership, to promote Friendship, and to provide Service to humanity; and to further the freedom that is our national, educational, and intellectual heritage."

Leadership – Friendship – Service

The success of our fraternity has relied strongly on the three cardinal principles of Alpha Phi Omega: Leadership, Friendship, and Service. Strong leadership skills develop within our members and help to lead to greater success in the future. Members lead through their service, and this helps translate into greater achievements for any career. Friendship helps establish long lasting bonds with brothers, and creates memories never to forget. The primary focus of Alpha Phi Omega is to provide volunteer service within four major areas: service to the community, service to the campus, service to the fraternity, and service to the nation as participating citizens. The service aspects combines all the values instilled within the fraternity.

Growing each semester, the increasing number of pledges has enabled the chapter to obtain over 100 members. Favorite service projects include the following: The Atlanta Shakespeare’s Tavern, MedShare International, Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald House and 10 years of ushering at the Schwartz Center for Performing Arts.
